MLWDA is a Non-Profit, NGO which is established with the vision to achieve Gumuz women stand on equal ground with men and the rest of the country as well as to realize the Gumuz Community empowered in socio-economic and political development activities.
In accordance with the Article of the Association in force, the General Assembly (GA) which embraces all members of the Association is the highest decision-making body. The Board has 5 elected members from all members of the Association who are referred as Board of Directors (BD).
The Management Team/Management has been established to manage and facilitate the day today operation of the Association and keeps all the sections together to ensure all programs/projects are implemented /executed through effective monitoring, resource mobilization, and so on.
The Management is headed by Executive Director (ED) who oversees/supervises the overall operations of MLWDA. Currently, it has various women focused socio-economic development programs / projects which are under implementation/execution through direct supervision of its Head Office, Branch Offices and others Regional Satellite Offices.
